I hope someone can help me with some answers, suggestions on what to do.
I got some feedback that the only page being seen at my site is the index page, after that all the pages display the Page404 error. All I did was enabled the cache and enabled the hotlink protection at my control panel.
Maybe you can give me some feedbacks:
Let me know if you see the same Page 404 error page once you click any link in the index page.
Thanks!

June 13, 2007 at 5:57 am #222023What desdevlover says sounds like your problem, but I think you have probably modified your .htacess file incorrectly. Check the configuration to be sure it is correct. If you want the best SEO component, I highly recommend sh404SEF download it HERE or go to the home page to read more.

June 13, 2007 at 5:30 pm #222094moviefan;18123thanks for the link! 😉
You’re welcome, but you will still need the Joomla SEO option enabled to make this component work. If you want your pages to gain any kind of ranking you will want SEF URL’s, so look into the htaccess file.
Good luck.June 14, 2007 at 4:05 pm #222158Thanks for the advise, yes I am currently trying to figure out everything, and use the comp you recommended. Hopefully it will work. The problem actually stemmed from the hotlink protection issue…and the host told me there had no issues with joomla.
