I am working in a German Joomla Instalation.
When I am opening the JA_Travel – Standard Template the German Assignement is showing for half a second with all pages, then it swithces to English and no Page can be assigned.
My workaround was to assigne the Template to each Menu-Item.But this is not really a fine sollution.
I can not change the language of the Template.

December 27, 2011 at 6:18 am #431315Hi!
Not sure what you mean by a German Installation.
You should install Joomla normally and then grab the language pack from Joomla.org to prevent problems.
Please clarify so I may assist better if this does not resolved the issues!
thanks!December 27, 2011 at 9:15 am #431339Yes I took a normal Joomla-Instalation and installed the German language pack.
I attched two pictures.
The first is the picture, when I open Joomlaart Template. (JATravel)
The other one is the normal Breez Template.
I can not change the language in the JATravel-Template. The language (Sprache) is disabled.Helmut

December 28, 2011 at 6:33 am #431531Check that all permissions on folders and files are correct and if the problem still exist, please telll me the template version number installed.
Check the includes/application.php (around 65):
JPluginHelper::importPlugin('system');
make sure it is:
JPluginHelper::importPlugin('system', 'languagefilter');
Please also see this Joomla Doc on Multilanguage in 1.7
Let me know when I may mark this solved!
