I am new to Joomla, and using ja_purity tmeplate. I am trying to add a page break to my article but the article links do not display correctly. they are being shoved to the right. With any other template, it works fine. Joomla version 1.5.5 and ja_purity version 1.2.
I’ve attached a screen pic of what i am talking about. I’ve notice others with similar problems as well as with the “read more…” option (which does not work at all in this template) but have yet to see/find a fix. Any help please?
Update: the problem is only in my version of Firefox (V. 3.0), I.E. 7 sees the article links correctly. Is there something i need to do? or a fix to be seen correctly in Firefox?

August 14, 2008 at 4:57 pm #265384Hi:
I have a different, but similar problem: my article index is ok, but the modules on the right column are pushed away to the bottom of the article.
Best solution yet: do not use page breaks! At least the site doesn’t get broken.I’ve been playing around with the CSS files, but haven’t found a solution yet.
And now for the strange bit: I did a fresh Joomla install and tried creating page breaks on one of the demo content itens and… it works! This leads me to believe that it must be some component or plugin I installed that is producing the problem.
Can you list here the components and other stuff you installed so I can cross it with my list?
Best regards,
Rui Braz

I had downloaded the ja_purity tempate from the joomlart website thinking it was the most up-to-date version.
Joomla 1.5.5 comes with ja_purity in the install but I wasn’t using that one, I was using the one that i had downloaded instead and THAT was the one I was having problems with.
So, i created a new test joomla site and used the built-in ja_purity, and VIOLA! Article indexes look great, the “read more” component works and all was well.
so, i copied the entire ja_purtiy template folder from my test site to my production site and all was perfect.
So, that was my fix.
