October 16, 2013 at 3:55 pm #191442The home page doesn’t stop loading. I think it it trying to pull something from another site? Maybe from sample data? Please check the image.
Edit: it’s not just that link, it’s a different one sometimes. can you see if there is something (script) slowing down my site a lot?
Thanks!

October 17, 2013 at 10:33 am #509316These are things need improving in your site:
1) The image background:
templates/ja_muzic/images/home-bg-3.jpg
templates/ja_muzic/images/home-bg.jpgTry to reduce this image’size, current size is so big 636K – it will take time to load.
2) Loading LESS files will make your site slower than loading CSS files. I helped you to change it so that it uses CSS files instead.
Now, your site is loading better than.

October 17, 2013 at 2:46 pm #509341Thanks ninja, but now the slideshow got much smaller, and the side bar got big. See in the image you posted of my site and the one I am posting from original template?

October 18, 2013 at 10:05 am #509454There are many ways to speed up your website:
+ Server is hosting of your site(bandwidth, database, internet line….)
+ Remove unnecessary White Space in HTML
+ Minify Javascript and CSS
+ Reduce requests by combining HTML, CSS, and Javascript
+ Optimize all your images – Most if not all should be at least below 10kb
– Crop the white space using Photoshop
– Use PNG8 Files or GIF files rather than Jpegs and don’t use transparency
– Make images the size you want rather than resizing them in the editor
+ Uninstall any components/modules/plugins that you don’t actually use
+ Use Gzip Compression to Reduce HTML Size
+ Enable Caching as much as possible (page caching, view caching, module caching)When I accessed below link on your site, it is loading very fast
your_domain/bus-tracks
your_domain/lessons
your_domain/blog-k2
your_domain/videos
your_domain/newsYour home page is loading Facebook Fan Page, JA Content Popup module, JA SlideShow lite module containing many images which is reason why it loads very slow

October 18, 2013 at 5:10 pm #509522ok I figured out why. It is bootstrap that keeps resizing it. To anyone else with this issue:
-Go to /templates/ja_muzic/css/bootstrap.css
– line 239 – change to width of slideshow
-empty cache
