    Hi tomarriola

Are you sure tools.pingdom.com is always correct? It’s difference between firebug and pingdom. Pingdom report 4 t3 logo loaded while firebug report only one t3 logo loaded. Pingdom load all image were specify in all css although they were override by other images.

See in pagespeed what is not green (the bullet on the left) and you will see that images are the issue. You need to use modules that know to thumbnail the images.
Also you need to optimize some css, js, gzip aspects. Those can be solved by htaccess.
I have searched on google gor every problem reported br pagespeed and came up with some scripts for htaccess.
    Check the attach.

i know the problem with the images. but i have used the website without images and no bandwith-wasting modules (e.g. twitter or facebook) and the loading time wasn’t better..

About the only thing you haven’t done that might speed it up is try to use a Content Delivery Network to host a lot of your files off-site.

Here’s an explanation of one of our extensions designed to do just that.
