Why does the page scroll down automatically to jacomment in safari and chrome? I want the page to stay at the top, then people read the article and scroll down. http://kdawgfitness.com

Actually it’s scrolldown, it’s jump down and jump up after page loaded ?

At first i’m sorry about delayed of reply.
This issue actually because JA Comment used ajax. After document ready it’ll render to display form.
So, by this way it could make page little jumpping.
This issue we already have addressed . I’ll try to inform to dev team again about this.

the Page scrolls down and stays there. (safari and chrome on OSX i don’t know on Windows). On iOS devices (safari) happens the same.

Because on my site, the article is the most important thing (and not the comments) the article should be visible first, AND NOT THE JACOMMENT Box.
Because of that problem (everything else is very good), JACOMMENT is useless for me. I can’t tell my customers to not use safari and chrome, and I can’t write a message on the screen after calling an article to scroll all the page up so that they can see the article.

Please help, what can I do? Is there an temporary hack to fix that problem? I don’t want to switch to an other comment System.

Hi,

I’m facing the same problem with chrome, the page is scrolling down to the bottom after jacomment loads.
Please see for example http://ischia.it/it/escursioni-e-passeggiate-in-montagna-ad-ischia.html .
Is there any workaround or do we just have to wait for an upgrade?

I gave it up and switched to ‘kunena discuss’, a plugin which I didn’t know before.
It has not that problem, loads on the page very quick and I was already using the kunena forum and it’s the same administration.

I think I’ll go for Kunena discuss too, I’m already using Kunena forum as well. A bit annoying being a Developer Member since 2009, but it looks like there’s no solution at the moment.
