    Outlet in your english menu is an External URL (type) while in the german menu it’s type is Joomshopping. Can’t check the menu right now because you locked it πŸ˜›

    Right. Some background. πŸ™‚

    Megamenu is fine in multilanguage for menus but has a problem with some components. Seems to be quite well documented on here and despite page overrides if you go to shop on the english pages, shop is highlighted on the mega menu. On the swiss side it isn’t. It is just the way megamenu works with joomshopping. So in swiss language the menu would disappear. Hence putting some fake menu items that are external urls to lead back to the swiss menu and keep some order there if they were clicked on.

    As this is my first site ever(!) perhaps that was the wrong way to go. :-[ But it works. It always sent people back to /de/ on the url. That’s why VIP Sale is an external url in the Main Menu and published for German only.

    Outlet is a true English menu item and should now be unlocked for you. If you have a problem again you have super user so can always do a checkin.

    I set a mirror site up to test JS 3.4.1 and it doesn’t happen on that site. OK the CSS is messed up with the upgrade but THIS page problem doesn’t happen. I can’t find the reason for it. I think I’ve become something of an expert on JS and Tiris trying!! 😎

    Pavit as you can see had a look too.

    The bad thing is, is that this is the DISCOUNT page where I’d expect most Swiss to go hunting for bargains! Sod’s law! :((

    I’m grateful for you taking the time to look. Merci vielmals!

    That’s way to complicated for me at this point :p

    Try to add this css to your template.css

    #ja-left {
    position: absolute;
    top: 20px;
    left: 38px !important;
    z-index: 12;
    }

    It’s a dirty workaround, I know.

    I thought I was doing so well for such a beginner. 3 weeks of pain meets 6 lines of code. I need to learn more CSS………….:((:-[

    I don’t mind dirty! Pulled the left frame back into position. Still got a problem with one div in the middle second row down so if you have any ideas there…. πŸ™‚

    YOU DA MAN! πŸ˜€

    Hi there,

    sorry it took so long. I was kind of ill the last couple of days.
    Well, about the Item in the middle I just can’t fix that with css because the html-output is wrong. This should be the last item on that page but it gets mixed in between. I don’t know what JShopping is doing there?!? See the screenshot:

    Hi Frank,

    It’s very weird that it happens on this page only. I could understand if it was corrupted on every product listing page. Happening on just one is outside my scope of experience and beyond my intellect! There is nothing else on the forum like it and I know the Tiris section almost inside out – a fair few of the posts are mine! πŸ˜€

    I can wait for the 2.5 upgrades that are coming and with JS upgrading too, who knows it might solve it properly.

    Many thanks for taking another look and hope you are feeling better. Stay in the warm! πŸ™‚ (Don’t know what it is like up north where you are but it’s about minus 18 here.)
