Hi,

Currently, I have turned on setting ‘Site Name in Page Titles After’ in global setting. This is fine. However, on my home page I only want the site name appearing. I have left the browser page title field blank, but then I get – Sitename appearing. I do not want this hyphen appearing ‘-‘ before the sitename

Hi
Template use the same setting to show the page title in Joomla.
You can set the default Joomla template for the menu you are facing to see this issue.
It would be same.
If you want to show different page title you can add the browser page title from Menu item > page display options.
