July 26, 2009 at 1:24 pm #143015I have spent 10 hours trying to fix my problem cannot solve it please help.
Pagebreak does not work correctly if SEF URLs is turned on (works fine if SEF is off) in global config.
This is an example of the page with a page break:
You can see page 2 has a 404 error
Strangely, this page works but you cannot press back to the start if you go onto the second page.
Also Read More does not work – when inserted in article and saved it does not show up at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :-*I am just JA Tronawiery Friendwiery

July 26, 2009 at 4:53 pm #312280Okay. That is odd. I just checked you site and the first time I got a 404 error. It looked like maybe it had to do with adding ?start=1 to the end of the URL but I just went back and played around with it again and now it seems to work and sends you to the page but the pagination disappears. What SEF are you using? Joomla’s regular SEF, sh404SEF, or another extension?

I tried to install sh404SEF but it just gave me a load of 404 errors so I unistalled it.

July 26, 2009 at 5:38 pm #312288I’m not really sure on the pagination issues. You might have better luck if you post your problem in the forums at Joomla.org. They will probably be able to help you better over there. Your Read more… problem might be related to not having the Read more… link set to show in the general article parameters. Check on that and make sure it is set to show.
