I am having 26 blocking javascripts and 29 blocking css resources that are causing a delay in rendering my website when I run PageSpeed test through Google. A few of these scripts/css files are not part of the JAOnepage template, however the majority of them are – does anyone have a good solution that will speed up my website and fix the render-blocking issue?

As of now my website is rating 46/100 for mobile (terrible).
and 67/100 for desktop (pretty bad)

I should note: I have tried jbetolo for joomla, however in merging files and trying to push scripts toward bottom of the site, the css was broken, menu wasn’t working properly, and some of the javascript plugins broke as well (jacontentpopup, google maps)
