I am using the splitmenu, and need to display the title of the parent menu item as an header of the submenu.

Here is one example

Mainmenu:
Cars
– BMW
– Volvo
– Porsche
– Ford
– Saab
Boats
Trucks

When “Volvo” is clicked, I would like to add an H2 tag above the submenu that shows “Volvo”.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Yes, this is still a issue – but I wrote my own code to fix this.

The menus in Joomlart templates are great, but I still miss some features to make it perfect.

My suggestions are:

– parameter in template to hide first menu element
– set equal width of the menuitem based on width of template. Now you can only set width in pixels, I want to stretch the items from left to right.
