After many hours wasted, supports you without getting anywhere. I decided to make the most obvious. “change to the template JA_Purity. ” Results paging work properly.
Conclusion The problem is not with the sh404SEF component.
And now the same problem with efrento Template JA community_plus
I ask please hereTo to help me solve this problem that has lasted a long time and has brought me time and financial prejudice.
Will send a ticket to support.
If you find a solution please please post it here on the forum. Do not want to ask for help in the future for this same problem.

January 16, 2011 at 9:50 pm #372137Please read this from the dev.anything website

4 – The pagination bugThis one would deserve a post of its own! To put it shortly, changes introduced in the way Joomla handles pagination of multiple pages elements have changed between Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5. Because Joomla own SEF does not handle pagination, it does not matter for the default SEF. But for every extension handling pagination (ie: replacing ?start=10 by something like /Page-2) 3rd party developers struggled to overcome this change…
The new system in Joomla basically makes it impossible to calculate pagination properly. What makes it worse is that normally Joomla handles pagination for all 3rd-parties extension, and so few of them were still working.
The quick fix would havbe been of course to simply drop pagination alltogether. That’s not how I have done things from the start. Another way, used by some other SEF extension, would simplify the problem by manually entering a single number of items page. That’s a limitation compared to what Joomla can do, and thus unacceptable. Eventually, I came across a general solution that fixes the problem for Joomla content, as well as for all extensions we have tested. Let me thank Alex, from Joomfish , as the idea originated through a discussion with him

And take a looke through the threads here – http://dev.anything-digital.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=71&action=search2
As you can see, pagination is a huge problem with sh404SEF. I am certain that if you make sure you have the very latest release and set it up correctly it will work, it is on my community+ install.

January 17, 2011 at 1:21 am #372157I wish I explixasse because the problem does not occur when I change the template?
Theother detail is that the problem of paging does not occur with my Joomla, but the pagination component K2.

January 17, 2011 at 7:44 am #372191It does appear a common problem whenever K2 and sh404SEF are working together – http://www.google.co.uk/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&q=k2+pagination+sh404sef&aq=f&oq=

April 18, 2011 at 8:53 pm #386994K2 and sh404SEF work just fine with rhuk_milyway template – but as soon as I turn on the Events template, Pagination breaks….
http://dev.joomgo.com/clients/events/blog – FRESH install of Events and latest version of sh404SEF
If the problem is with K2 and sh404SEF – how come it doesn’t break with runk_milkyway?

June 11, 2011 at 10:19 pm #395895Setting the number of articles in the category menu seems to help – however I get strange effects as the page numbers increase:
link for page 1 has url /blog
link for page 2 has url /blog/page-2
link for page 3 has url /blog/page-4
link for page 4 has url /blog/page-6
link for page 5 has url /blog/page-7
link for page 6 has url /blog/page-9Very odd..I’m trying to show 10 intro articles, no full articles per page.

BTW that link tells me I need to log in – do you want me to create a new ticket?

Hi the info is definitely in the ticket…I’d rather not make my admin info available through multiple routes – when I log in to that ticket I see the info there. #BLI-100-43356 assigned to Hai Nguyen. -
