Hey all,

I’m checking the Template Manager and following a tutorial. I’m showing UNWRITABLE for the parameters. Is there a way to get that to writable ? This is with the quickstart upload ver 1.5.6, on a MAC computer.

this is done for security reasons

you can use what ever following option is available to you
cpanel, plesk, ftp, or install joomlaxplorer, navigate to the file, change (chmod) the permission ot 755, go back to the parameters, make your change and then save., the parameters file will return to unwritable status.
