I have been trying to get the JA Events II template I purchased to work. When I installed it a message came up saying I needed the T3 pluggin. So I downloaded and installed plg_system_t3.v2.6.0.zip. I got a parsing error. I then readin documentation that I needed the T3 Framework. Ok. I installed The Blank & Clean JA T3 V2 Framework Template – Default. Same parsing error. I am working with Joomla 2.5.
The error I am getting is:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in D:Hosting2582794htmlAARTpluginssystemt3includesjoomla25layoutfile.php on line 168Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks

December 23, 2016 at 2:05 am #996804Hi,
JA Events II template is built with new T3 framework, you can get it from here. If another version of JA T3v2 framework is installed on your site also, you should disable it first as using 2 versions of T3 in the same time will cause the conflict.
Hope it helps

I keep getting a 500 Internal Server Error. It is not accepting the file. What should I look for to make sure everything is compatible?Ninja Lead ModeratorNinja Lead

December 30, 2016 at 12:54 pm #998592I updated the website access last night. Please try again.
As for the FTP – let me look into that.I can pull the T3 file in via FTP. What folder should it be in? Templates?
December 30, 2016 at 12:57 pm #998593This is just a test site to see how the template runs, and to set up the content before moving it over to the real site. Will this template be this hard to set up in the real site? I want it installed overnight when I move it.

January 2, 2017 at 12:55 pm #998938Hi,
Your site is using Joomla v2.5.14 (released 01 August 2013) and it was very old and I’m not sure which the t3 framework version from our product to support this Joomla version on your site but you can try to use T3 framework version v2.4.2 or you can give the super admin on your site via private reply. I will help you to find the compatible t3 framework with your site.
Regards
