Hello all,

I am using Joomla1.5.6 and virtuemart1.1.2
The website is here.

I made menu items as virtuemart category links. When I click on a category or subcategory, the pathway would show this:
Home>Category1>Subcategory1>VMCategory1>VMSubcategory1

So far, I can handdle the double-displaying of the categories as they display the categories correctly. I’ll find a way for Virtuemart not to display its category path later.
The problem occurs when I click on any itel in any category or subcategory. I’ll then get:
Home> Mobilier >Rangements Enfant> Subcategory1>VMCategory1>VMSubcategory1>product

The Virtuemart Pathway is good, but the 1st part is messedup. It won’t display the good path.
I tried to unpublish that menu item, it would then display(randomly?) another menu item and stick with it when I click on other items.

the path way is very long . so it causes messedup .i have checked Home> Mobilier >Rangements Enfant but can’t see any subcategory , please send me full url what appears long pathway . i will check it for you

Lets take an example of a product “FATBOY outdoor turquoise ” found here:
The path should have been: Home > Mobilier > Pouf Outdoor >Mobilier > Pouf Outdoor > FATBOY outdoor turquoise
instead it displays: Home > Mobilier > Rangements > Enfant Mobilier > Pouf Outdoor > FATBOY outdoor turquoise

I can’t figure out what this “Rangements > Enfant Mobilier” is doing here. and these category and sub-category are hilighted in the menu, and that can confuse the customers.

Maybe if I get rid of the virtuemart pathway that will fix it? But I didn’t find the way to do it yet.

Isnt there in config of virtuemart? Did you take a look there?

“Home >> Mobilier >> Rangements Enfant ” is pathway for menu of joomla.

“Mobilier >> Pouf Outdoor >> FATBOY outdoor turquoise” is pathway part for virtumart .
they are joined to create full pathway .

if you want to change it , i think that , you must hack to code of joomla pathway to remove sublevel label for pathway in menu of virtuemart .

Haiin,
Still have the problem, I couldn’t find anything to fix it on the Virtuemart Forums (Not for the latest release anyway).
Do you have any suggestion on how to resolve this?

Hi sbouloc !
to do it , we need hack to code of pathway of joomla to check case menu is virtuemart. this is heavy customizion , I am afraid that you have to handle the changes at your end.
Alternatively, please take into consideration to post your requirements on Joomlancers.com to find a talent freelancer for your project.
I am sorry for not being of much help in this case.
