What are the problems you are having?

Setting PP up as a payment in JoomShopping really doesn’t do anything. We set up Authorize.net as a payment gateway but also want to have PP as a secondary option but setting it up leads nowhere.

    Thx

    It’s not a gps! 😀

What is it doing? Can’t help if I don’t know what the problem is! 🙂

We purchased the Authorize.net plugin through Joomshopping and it works perfectly, all we had to do is add our account information (API) and it set up as a payment option.

When we try to set up any other payment method(s), there is an Add screen where we can name the option but there’s no configuration tab.

Is there a plugin or something for Paypal that we can download for the JoomShopping component.

    Thanks!

    Should be built in already.

    or

check in root/components/com_jshopping/payments/pm_paypal that you have 3 files in there – adminparamsform.php, paymentform.php and pm_paypal.php

If you are missing one of those I can send it to you

Thanks for your time Swissa, we have the 3 files that you mention but when we go to create a new payment option we get this (img 1) and it has no config settings at all (img 2) .

IDK if this is their way of getting $ for a payment gateway or if there’s another place to set up PP.

    Thanks again!

    Weird.

I would suggest doing a full backup of the site with akeeba, and then set up a dev site with a new database and restore the backup there. This will give you a test to site to work with rather than working and playing with a live site. Having a separate dev site allows you to test off upgrades etc without worry. I do this with every site – better safe than sorry!

Then I’d update JoomShopping. If you are using the original supplied with the template it’ll be on 3.4.2 and JS is now at 3.7.2. You will have to update in small stages – not too much of a pain, 15 mins or so, an do it via the install on the JS component. If you try to just install the latest version you will lose all your shop data – not something you’d want I think!! :p

That could cure it, you’d be on the latest version and if you do it on the dev site you can always transfer via akeeba to the live site.
