Hi Guys,

PDF files are not working, everytime you click on pdf file icon windows stays blank

Any idea

by the way l am using latest version1.5.8 and l just tryed ja helio themes even thats not working

Have you enabled SEF or installed any SEF component??

SEF is enabled and this never worked with any of Joomla Art themes because some of the Joomla Art demos even not working so no idea how to make it work

1.5.9 is the latest version.

Have you tried downloading or viewing PDFs on other non Joomla sites? This sounds like a browser problem tbh.

hi,

install latest only yesterday which is 1.5.9 and l did try this with ie6, ie7 but never worked, also tryed non joomla and joomla sites all works fine

however joomla art demos are not working with pdf any way

They’re working fine for me. Both the demo site and the quickstarts. Maybe you need to update your adobe?

ok l did upload my adobe reader and tryed with adobe 8 and 9 but not working is there any more idea guys

all pdf files creation works on all JA demo sites here, you might want to consider reinstalling the adobe web plugin.

Ok guys,

Very strange but after reading articles on other Joomla pages finally enabled Gzip page compression to speed up site ,start to works as normal.
