    Just the template I’ve been waiting for!

    I’ve spent the last week trying to modify antares for my companies technical support site and by the end of yesterday I had it looking almost exactly the same as iris 🙂 If only I’d known I could’ve saved myself loads of time.

    I don’t understand what people are moaning about. The templates at rockettheme, yootheme etc certainly have the ‘wow’ factor but are completely overkill for most corporate sites. Most customers want easy navigation, good typography and a clean look. Look at most corporate site like Dell, HP Microsoft etc….they look far more like a joomlart template then a rockettheme one…and they spend a fortune finding out what their customers want from a site.

    Cheers!

    If you have a shopping site the top position of ja iris is also a great position for the vm productslider from the ja-larix template. It’s just necessary to adjust the width of the top position from 45% to 90% or so in the css file
    #ja-topsl div.moduletable {
    width: 45%; <- change this
    padding: 0;
    margin: 0;
    position: absolute;
    left: 15px;
    top: 30px;
    }

    The more I look at this template the more I like it. It has some similarity with ja-teline but in opposite to ja-teline it also offers the option of a left column. I like the template very much. It has a clean look and a clean code and offers great opportunities for modifications.
