    Hi memotas,

The first & third options are true for cache performance.

    Hi memotas,

I just want to explain more details about one of 3 options on configuring the cache options on our template. I will focus on the first option only:

    Joomla Manager

1-Plug-in Manager: System – Cache (ENABLE)

Generally, each page of your whole website will be cached based on URL when you enable this Cache plugin. The pages’ cache will be availble to the guest only (not logged-in users) if you set Yest to Use Browser Caching option.

    2-Global Configuration/System/ Cache Settings/-Consrevative caching (ENABLE)

When you turn on Conservative caching option in Cache settings, it means that you want to handling the cache data on the installed modules. In this case, all the visitors to website will get the exact same content. On other module’s cache modes, you can refer this post.

    Template Manager/Global

    1- Cache Mode: (ENABLE)

When you set Enable to Cache mode option under Development Mode, this will help to reduce all the PHP queries generating on the front-end HTML of the website (modules/components/template overidden view, layout files…).

    2- Optimize CSS: Join&Minify&Compress (ENABLE)

This option allows all css files to be compressed to css file in /t3-assets/ folder on your server using Joomla! gZIP compression scripts. It will reduce the css styles need to be loaded & also make your template layout look fine on IE which always restricts the number of css files loading on a page.

    3- Optimize JS: Join&Minify&Compress (ENABLE)

This Optimize JS option also uses Joomla! gZIP compression scripts to compress all .js files into /t3-assets/js/ folder. It helps to reduce the js data loading by combining the same scripts into one.
