I don’t understand how this is suppose to work? Can’t seem to find anything clear in the documentation. Why does this message appear?

Your permission group is not supported by JA JobBoard Menu and refer to unsuported permission groups as below: ‘Public Back-end’, ‘Manager’, ‘Administrator’, ‘Super User’

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment 🙂

    Hi Gugge1,

Yes, JA Jobboard does not accept permission on front end for user which are in ‘Public Back-end’, ‘Manager’, ‘Administrator’, ‘Super User’ group. Because these user are manager who can manage Jobs in backend. If you go to back end >> components >> JA Jobboard >> User Permission , you would see this clearly.

I would just like to point out that there is nothing clear about this from any view and it goes against everything we know about how Joomla permissions work. Since this tool clearly creates its own user permissions and in the Wiki all it says is that super admins have full permissions, which given what is really going on this user clearly does not have since they have no permissions on the front end. There should be something in the wiki to indicate that no user that has back end access will be granted front end permissions, which I might add is just plain wrong!

    Dear Earthrat,

Yes, the permissions of admin and super admin only allowed in backend. The Job Seekers and Employers permissions will be granted on the front end. We’ll update wiki asap. Thank you for the reporting.
