    Hi there,

I get the following message in the slideshow module:

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/virtual/dwh/public_html/kb/modules/mod_ja_contentslide/jaimage.php on line 191

I have installed in on a shared server (not local host).

I gather it is a permission issue, but of what directory?

    Could you plz help?

    Cheers,

    Tamirzzz

    Hi there Tamirzzz
The line 185-195 in the jaimage.php refers to the creation of the resize folder so it can put images there that have been resized
look at your folder structure under /images/ for a resized folder
if it is there change permissions to 755, If it is not there create the folder.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

It is not clear whether the name of the folder is resize or resized. I tired both, and it did not work.

I must add that I have insatlled the templatemodules via the Quick Setup-It must be flawed.

    Cheers,

    Tamir

Well 1st the quickstart is not flawed as I have just installed it without fault, second the name of the folder is resized and it exists in the images folder I attach a screenshot.

Have the same issue, not all the time, just some of the time – makes no sense.
Used the quickstart too, anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes the problem comes from the way the server is set up and you don’t have the permissons you need to do certain things, expecially with Joomla. That happened to me at first with the hosting company I used. After I switched, no problems any more.
