May 20, 2009 at 5:04 pm #141336Just installed JA Zeolite for Joomla! 1.5 using the Quick Start package… I’ve haven’t changed anything yet… and i’m getting this funky error:
Warning: mkdir(/home/…./public_html/…./images/resized/) [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/…../public_html/……/modules/mod_jaslideshow/mod_jaslideshow.php on line 297
any ideas?

hmm… images/resized did not exist… so i added it… and set to777… did not work…
I got the same error with URL “images/resized/images”
i added that directory
then received the same error with URL “images/resized/images/stories”
i added that directory
then received the same error with URL “images/resized/images/stories/slideshow”
so i added that directory
now it’s throwing the another error:
Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open ‘/home/…./public_html/…./images/resized/images/stories/slideshow/sl-1_100_100.jpg’ for writing in /home/…./public_html/…./modules/mod_jaslideshow/mod_jaslideshow.php on line 320
any ideas?

September 4, 2009 at 4:43 pm #316382think there was an issue when the site first ran… apparently there are some automated actions involved with the slideshow module that causes it to generate thumbnails dynamically… since permissions were not granted the mod was restricted from automating the process… I set enabled FTP access for Joomla under config settings and viola… the script was able to run properly.
