I did the quickstart full install in my test site – which took hours and hours.

Now I am ready to install this template in the actual site.
I installed the 1.5.10 joomla directly thru fantastico in my cpanel.
Then i installed ja_quillaja in the templates folder.

Now, i am getting problems.
I believe its to do with the permissions.

So can someone enlighten me (nothing found in this forum) on all required permissions for all files/folders please?

can you post the errors you are getting and the problems you are having?

After reading your post i think there went something wrong in the installation, the quickstart is a joomla installation itself so you dont have to install using fantastico first.

If you install the quickstart everyting is included (joomla install + template + all modules for the template)

Thanks for your willingness to help.
Actually I just started the quickstart full upload coz i wasnt getting thru by uploading the template files only.

I was really not keen on doing the quickstart full upload given the huge amount of time it takes. But we’ll see how it goes.
