When I view my site in Internet Explorer 9, the photo gallery title does not appear properly. It appears like this:

It looks ok in other browsers.

I would be happy to install a similar alternative extension for that module if anyone knows of any. I just need to get it working as soon as possible.

But it looks like the Latest News/ Most Read module has the same issue in Internet Explorer 9. The image is attached:

Has anyone on the staff looked at this yet? I posted this 3 days ago. My site needs to go live soon, so I need to know what to do with this problem.

I can’t log into your site with the information you’ve provided, you do have a JS error however.
would you please make sure you’ve updated all of our software via ja extension manager and also update the access information

Thank you for the response. I re-created the accounts that I originally provided, so you can try logging in now if you want to. I think that I have the latest JA Tabs module installed. I just downloaded this template last month. I ended up just disabling the Tabs module altogether, but you can re-enable them to see the problem if you want to.

sir I checked out your site and your software is very out of date, including joomla.
please follow the video to correct this situation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_bTuK_5aeY

Thanks for looking, but I upgraded Joomla from 1.7.0 to 1.7.3 and I updated the extensions in the JA extension manager, and it didn’t solve the problem. Strangely enough, the tabs look ok on pages other than the home page. If you look at the “Latest News/ Most Read” tabs module on the home page, it doesn’t look right in IE9, but it looks ok on the “Sport” page.

Thank you, the latest updates fixed the problem! I have one more question for you if you don’t mind. Also in IE9. When I scroll over items in the top megamenu, the drop down menu appears behind the youtube video that I have in the top sl1-r location. The youtube video overlaps the drop down menu, is there anyway to fix that?

It wasn’t there, so I tried adding it, but nothing happened, it didn’t change anything.

then you may not have gotten the proper element. You’ll need to use firebug to find the proper one ( see my signature ) you can do something like “border:1px solid pink;” in the element you suspect and when you see the border you got the right one 🙂
if you want you can give me ftp access and I can look, the one you’ve supplied does not work.

I’ll mess around with it tonight, but if you want to take a look at it in the meantime, that would be great. I have the ftp info saved in here for you. The name and password are the same as the Joomla Admin login info.

tried to login but it says the username pw are bad.

Weird, I was able to login with that info, try to add @”mydomainname” to the end of the ftp username. I did however find an embed code that resolved the problem. By making the object opaque/ transparent, I was able to make the menus overlap the youtube video. I think that IE has issues with some objects and indexing. I tried to embed the video as an iframe, but I still had to use the opaque/ transparency parameters to make it work right in IE. I have to add the transparency code manually every time I want to post a new video, so I was hoping that there was an easier solution in case someone posts a video and forgets to edit the embed code.
