I am afraid I am new to Joomlart and trying to find my way.

I installed the theme Blazes onto an already developed site. I like to use photo galleries in articles.
I was using Sigplus Image Gallery, but when I activate Blazes it does not work anymore. I have to questions:
1) Is Sigplus incompatible with Blazes?
2) Is there maybe another way (other plugin) to display photos in a lightbox from a directory which is compatible with
Blazes?

I apologize if the answer is already in the forum, I tried to find it but could not.

Hi,

As far as i know sigplus generates a js conflict but you can overcome this by adding motols no conflict on your code.
Can you please show us your web site so we can identify the problem and provide you with a more helpful answer ?

The plugin displays only the thumbnail, not the lightbox.
This is the only public page using sigplus. Please let me know if you need more info.

I now just noticed that sigplus also interferes with JAComment. On articles using sigplus pressing the Add Comment button has no effect, while it works seamlessly for other articles. So it could indeed be a javascript conflict. Unfortunately, I know little about javascript. Any suggestions about a different photogallery plugin would be helpful as well.

Thanks. I tried this. The images now display nicely, but JAcomment is still broken. I check out the JAcomment forum.

Unfortunately I resolved the issue by neither using Sigplus nor simple image gallery.
I am now trying HighSlide which does not seem to have a conflict with JAComment or the template Blazes.
I will post a question on HighSlide in the corresponding forum.
