I am looking for a way to display photos. Each event a groups has needs to be separate from each other. It needs to be able to be accessed from the front end by a user much like facebook albums. Being able to access these albums in a manner from a list or something similar. I am using Joomla 3.1 with T3 V3 template. I am open to suggestions on how to achieve this.

There are quite a few applications available on the JED that provide gallery features for users, far too many to list here. In addition there are other applications such as Coppermine Photo Gallery and Gallery 2 that can be bridged with Joomla. So it really depends on your precise needs which is the best option for yourself. The most similar to Facebook albums is probably JomSocial but that is a commercial component.
