Hi folks, I’ve seen one or two of these web based images editors in action and they seem to be getting better and better all the time. While they may never be true photoshop alternatives they are certainly becoming quite powerful apps and are extremely handy if you are at a machine with out an image editing program.

I came across another one and this one is certainly worth a mention on here. It’s called aviary.com and it has some really excellent features. Watch the video on the home page to get a good look at what it can do.

And here’s a really good feature…. add aviary.com/ to the start of any web page to take a screen shot of the page. Eg. aviary.com/www.joomlart.com

Interesting — I’ve never seen any web based graphic editing sites like this before. I normally just use ps3
