Is there any chance that JA Edenite can be updated to work properly under PHP 7?

Hi there

Since new Joomla 3.5 version was released for template ja_edenite and looking at support life cycle diagram HERE ( code freeze from Jan 2017 ) actually it is not in the priority list for updates of templates T3V2 Framework based like Ja _Edenite.

That’s too bad. I am sure that others are looking for a fixed width template and JA Edenite really fits the bill for me. I have it working properly on Joomla 3.6.2 under PHP 5.6 but can’t get any further. I understand that you need to move forward. If you can recommend a newer template that would be similar to JA Edenite and that will be moving forward to J4 I will take a serious look at it.

Ja Edenite template has a very simple layout with 3 columns ( Left – Content-block – right ) essentially all new Joomlart templates can be set to the 3 columns layout – but my suggestion is to use the T3 Blank template customizing colors using thememagic feature,since it has not so much customizations like all other templates and you can have a very strong template with all new joomlart features ( bootstrap – responsive – html-5 ) light to load and satisfying all latest web requisites.
