    HI,

I am using phpbb3 on my site and would like to use the bridge software by Rokbridge to so it. I would like to make the forum look like it’s part fo the aite and need to edit the phpbb3 theme to make it look like Corona. Is there anyone that could give me a hand to do this?

Are you able to provide a link so we can see how your site is set up today?

Currently the site is setup using the JFusion bridge using a wrapper. This looks like how I want it to be finaly but the wrapper throws up some issues. you can see the wrapped forum here http://www.minifinity.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2

i am just working on a none live site to try and get the template right

    http://www.test.adamdidthis.co.uk

if you click on forum, you will see a phpbb3 forum that i have part modded the template to look like the JA template

i have done it all but for getting the top menu to work, how can i call it to display, i have tried copying the info from the joomla template files and inserting it in to my phpbb3 template, all works apart from the top menu

I am unsure if you are aware how the phpbb3 template systems work, but the edits are made to two files overall_heater.html and overall_footer.html.

I have modified my htaccess file to allow me to run php comands in the html file.

Any help would be good on the menu

You cant get the Joomla menu to work in the phpbb part, thats almost impossible, but one way to get the menu to work in the forum is to make a new header for phpbb, and use this here: http://www.phatfusion.net/imagemenu/ to get same effect, just use “normal” links just as you do with pure html sites. I guess this would be 10 times faster to get working by do the steps there than get the joomla part into phpbb.

    Fantastic

I wasnt hoping to get the joomla menu across, thats way out of my coding, i was expecting to hard code it in.

I will get moving on it later.

    Manythanks
