I tested with phpmail code directly on your site and it’s working fine, I tested the phpmail setting with quickstart package from our local and it’s working as well, about the problem with configuration phpmail setting from backend site, you can contact with hosting system provider to get the log error and beside you can raise that bug to joomla forum maybe you will get best answer from there.

August 31, 2015 at 11:06 am #747096Have you tried registering on my page ? Nobody ever gets the email with PHPMail set. I registered again after you set it to phpmail and no address I try receives mail. I’ve posted on joomla’s main forum and never get an answer that works. I check spam folders too, so its weird. The phpmail function works on the server, just not my install…
Also my hosting has tested phpmail function and it worked outside of this installation. Just nobody receives email when registering

August 31, 2015 at 12:09 pm #680957Hi there
You can verify it by.
# Install JA quickstart
# Install Joomla! Quickstart
# A single php file with php mail callAnd of course on same server.
# Check with JA Quickstart
# Check with Joomla! Quickstart
# And finally check it php mail in single php fileCheck your server log if php mail already executed and email already sent out.
If it’s already send out than it’s mean php mail works . Please note send out does not mean users will receive it.Actually i have faced lots of troubles with php mail, specially from cheap hosting provider.
# Email already be blocked by receiver ( like google ) . Than, of course, users will not receive it even in spam mail.Thank you,
