hi all,

setup template on a fresh joomla 1.0.13, no mods.

1st pic looks ok in slider but when it starts cycling through the other pics, it doesn’t fit them correctly into the window.

how to fix this issue?

is it possible to increase the size of the slider somehow?

The height and width can be changed in the module settings

i have width set to 400 and height to 300 currently in the module settings. can see the impact but i guess it looks like some of the pics are not being resized correctly.

could it be due to the graphics library i am using in the RSGallery component? it is currently set to gd2 bundled (2.0.34 compatible). in the dropdown the other options are netpbm 10.25 and imagemagick, it says the latter is not detected. maybe i should get imagemagick installed and use it instead?

this guy has a similar issue and he was given these options:
a) change the display size in configuration
b) reupload the bad images
c) modify slider so that it does not hardcode the image dimensions or so that it hardcodes them to the correct size.
which one do you recommend?

GD is obviously working because it made these:

Just resize the images yourself and reupload.

i did a bit more testing and this looks more like a bug to me, if you have a look at –

this shows the slider pointing at the showcase gallery (10 pictures from beauty).

the 1st picture is always displayed correctly. if you then click back on the same image later, the dimensions are showed incorrectly.

put simply, all the photos should show correctly scaled as the 1st picture?

Hi Fcuk112.
I’ve viewed your site, and i see every images have orginal size is width: 400px, height: 600px.
You must config Rs gallery component. Choose Component->Rs gallery 2->Control Panel
And then click Cofiguration
Plz choose Images tab, you will see Display Picture Width paramater, enter value is 200. Then plz try to upload again your images.
