Instead of removing the thread, which you cannot do yourself, you can just add “answered” to the heading of the Thread so others don’t go looking to try to help.

Hi again,

If you go to the very top of this page, you will see the breadcrumbs for the site.

joomlart forums > etc. Under that another line starting with Answered.

That is where it is changed, not in modifying what you wrote to start with.
