    Hi
    Is this possible to change this function NOT to add any effect and quality for image?
    Most images don’t require this.
    I’d rather have fast-loading website.

    Yes, you can change that function from both files

    <blockquote>plugins/system/jacontenttype/helpers/image.php
    plugins/system/jacontenttype/helpers/libs/smart_resize_image.function.php</blockquote>

    or you can disable to use the generation of this function, look at the screenshot
