My Image are in 72dpi, width: 5cm, optimized for web saved, jpg format

I cannot get a good look at the image from the screen shot you have provided. Can you give us a link to the site or let us see the image? Perhaps you optimized the photo too much causing it to look pixelated? Or perhaps you are putting it in an area that is automatically resizing? :confused:September 8, 2008 at 12:13 pm #269483Ok, the image i posted ist to small 🙂 Here again a screenshot of the site:

October 21, 2008 at 7:23 am #276386I am having a similar problem. Not only are my images looking pretty rough but they are getting all wavy or something. I have tried every combination of web optimization I can think of. The images themselves in the articles look great but something in the animation process is making them look horrible. Any thoughts on how to correct this? To see what I am talking about here u go…

I would really like to use the JA Flowlist module but I need the images to be clearer. I have utilized a different mod that is similar and the images look great in terms of clarity, see below
http://www.preferredweddingprofessionals.net/index.php/contact-us
but I like the look and functionality of Flowlist better.
Is it something in the flash file, that could be easily corrected? I have tried everything and I just can’t figure it out. PLEASE HELP!
Thank you in advance
KristoferFebruary 17, 2010 at 2:29 pm #332940I’m having the same problem.
Here is the original image: http://platypusmultimedia.com/images/urls/Mama_rosie.png
and here is a screen capture of same image in flowlist: http://platypusmultimedia.com/images/Capture.PNG
I tried everything I could think of…different file types and sizes, etc…
If there is a way to fix this it would be a fantastic mod. If not, it is clearly unuseable and I’ve wasted many hours.
Thanks,
Dan

February 25, 2010 at 8:08 am #333822I guess that you are using the old version. pls try to re-download this module and test this again, the lastest version allow render thumbnails.
February 25, 2010 at 1:06 pm #333871I’ve downloaded the version that is available on your site… I don’t see anything about rendering thumbnails. If there is a newer version, I don’t know where to find it. It says version 1.1 in your download area, but “<h2>JA Flow List 1.0</h2>” on it when I load it.
Thanks,

March 1, 2010 at 2:17 pm #334224Hi,
Thanks, I’ve now found it’s secret hidding place and installed 1.1. I don’t however see any difference, and don’t see any instructions for the new version and can’t see how thumbnails are used.
The link below is how it currently appears on my site. The image at top is the actual image. In this case I have no size typed in for the image. If I type in the actual dimensions of the image, it displays a much smaller image (with just as poor quality) I have “Auto Resize” set to “no”…if I set it to “yes” nothing shows up.
How are thumbnails utilized? Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Dan

March 3, 2010 at 2:45 am #334555ok, i tested the issue on our demo, it work well. When you turn on the resize option, the module ‘ll create subfolders inside the images/resized folder via using the mkdir function of php, this is the problem of php permission on the folder creating, the php function did not set permission 777 for those folders
