I really like the new template JA Avian II but waiting for a month the slide show just still not function. 😀 I really appreciate if someone can fix the problem for us.
Just see it for yourself to the demo site http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php
Click Sweets and Cakes
Click slideshow at the end of the tool bar which locates at the top of the photos
Simply the slideshow function is not there even in the demo template in Joomlart.com
I install the JA Avian II Quickstart with no problem at all to see exactly like the demo site at Joomlart and also the same problem is that the slideshow is not function.
I am sure I have turn the slideshow function on at the backend because when I
Choose template JA Slideshow or JA Sematic the slideshow did not function and when I choose Slideshow One (RS Gallery build in) the slideshow just start function
So there show be something in the JA Slideshow template that need to be fixed so that the slideshow can be function
Please fix it so we can have a perfect template thanks a lot

To my understanding a slideshow is a way to present a series of photos that they can run by themselves like the demo in
RS Gallery demo

I simply do not see any auto run of photos in the joomla art demo site when I click the button slideshow as the one in RS Gallery demo site ( I try on IE and FF).
go to the demo site>sweets and cakes>slideshow

the link he linked to was the JA demo. the slide show seems to not work on anyones site who has installed this template.
on top of that, JA seems to be ignoring this issue, because multiple people have asked about this and there has yet to be a fix

Which Joomla version are you using? The current Joomla 1.5 version is still a Beta release.

i have 1.0.13
but 1.5 IS stable and is not beta

No, the JoomlArt Templates for Joomla 1.5 are currently BETA TEMPLATES. Your answer for the slideshow is that is how the slideshow for this template was designed.
so the sliding function will not work in joomla 1.0.13?

Looks like multiple questions in here now. The Slideshow for the gallery section in the demo works with a click on the picture and then the next one in line appears and so on and so on. I have never seen an auto rotating picture slide show in this template for the Gallery section.
The actual Slideshow that works on its own is on the front page of the demo but I am not sure if anyone is complaining about that one in this thread. Please clarify.
