    Hi there

My name is Abdiaziz Dude, and the first time I visited this site I was like Wow. Anyways I like what I see, and I was wondering if anyone would help me out with my problem. Due to my little knowledge of installing Joomla template to my server, I don’t know how to do that. I spent 200 US $ at a guy who designed this site http://www.bosasotimes.net but it doesn’t even come close to what I was looking for. Anyways I want to become a permanent member on this site and forum due to the fact that I like portal sites like this one JA Teline II – Real Magazine Portal and many more.

Please help me with my problem:)

    Thank You

    Sincerely

Actually, what the webdesigner created for you is a very clean design — and very unique. If he gave you the template script itself, it is not a very bad start.

You cannot get that kind of unique design from any stock template — it will require lots of customization to do that.

Eventually, the template created is just the beginning, a layout. What will make a page would be the content. Do not expect the webdesigner to do that for you. That is the job of the webmaster — either you, or you hire someone else. That will require a lot of money, if you depend on others to create the content.

Thank you for replaying, but the way I wanted the layout to be was quite different. See I like this type of design and its surely one of those designs that I adore. (http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_teline_ii, but the fact stays the same and that is the CMS for it has a very poor capability and that is the paragraph style, adding flash, fonts and colors and every thing that an article can be edited at. What I saw in this design that you guys have is way different and cooler than what I was looking for. Any who, can you point out to me anyone that can help me out with the installation?.

    Thank You

If you mean installation of JA Teline II, there are a number of procedures that should not be so difficult to follow.

In the JA Teline II section, Hung has a tutorial. I also posted one intended for new users:

General Steps for the QuickStart Installations of Joomla – Joomlart Template kits.
    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/general-steps-for-the-quickstart-installations-of-joomla-joomlart-template-kits/

The one I posted is for the for “Joomla 1.0x -JA Teline II QuickStart” kit. In the same post, Menalto, who is a SuperModerator here provided a link ot a procedure for the “Joomla 1.5x -JA Teline II QuickStart” kit.

Many people are gungho on the Joomla 1.5x, but there are reasons why I do not use it now. That is why I provided the procedure for “Joomla 1.0x -JA Teline II QuickStart”.

I would recommend highly that you try the QuickStart installation yourself because it is not really not that difficult. It is a good experience to learn to do yourself, if you are serious to be a webmaster.
