Have you followed all the instructions in the readme?

VIRTUEMART component and modules

To begin install Virtuemart, you have to add these module position to your template positions: vm-fp, your-cart

• In administrator area, on top menu go to: Installers -> Component
• Browse to VirtueMart component and click Upload and Install
• Install these modules: mod_product_categories, mod_ja_vmproductslide, mod_virtuemart_featureprod, mod_virtuemart_cart.
• Extract these file and copy all of files & folder into your Joomla directory (keep file & folder structure).
• In Joomla administrator area top menu, click Component->VirtueMart



• You will see a large list icon. Click to Category Tree
• After that, click to a product categories.
• You will see a Parameter named: Category Browser Page. It is name of template which is used to display product category. Change this value to : ja_vm_cat_browse (this is template JA design for better presentation).



Remember to set it when you adding product categories in VirtueMart.

• To change size of thumbnail images, you can config change it in file

administratorcomponentscom_virtuemartvirtuemart .cfg.php

JA VM Product Slider

Before install JA VM Product Slider, remember to add new module position named “slider“.

• At first, you have to install JA VM Product Slider.
• In top menu, go to Module->Site modules , you will see list of modules in your site. Click to JA VM Product Slider to edit it.
• You will see these parameters:



• Title: Name of this module. You can leave it by default
• Show title: Enable/Disable Title of module. Choose No
• Position: Position where this module display. Choose slider
• Published: Choose Yes



Height of div: Height of product display block to display, set it to 150
Width of div: Width of product display block to display, set it to 140
Type of product: Type of products will be displayed.
Category: IDs of Categories that will be displayed. Set it to 0 if you want to display all product. If you want to display some category, seperate it by comma. For example 1, 2 ,3
Number of Elements: Number of products will be displayed
