May 27, 2011 at 11:53 pm #393282Hey, Try changing Desktop layout from Default to right-left-main in the layout settings under the Profiles tab. But change the position back from Cpanel to the original setting first. Let us know if it works for you.

With this, I attached a pic of my old setting and new setting. have a look plz.I Changed Desktop Layout to RTL. as you said. and so far every thing is okay. I tested it several times. but I will have a look with a new install later.
but why in Joomla 1.6 every thing is fine in all browsers. I just cahnged Direction to RTL under theGlobal Settings only.
and another question. It appears now iam fine with desktop computers. in all brosers. But what about iphone and other mobile devises? what are the setting I should do to apear my site in right RTL direction with iphones?
do I have to make all these to rtl?

May 28, 2011 at 4:48 am #393311Note: After I posted this I found how to do that. its in the oposite side of where it is in joomla1.6
another question with your permission.
In joomla 1.6 with Teline IV , its very easy to assosiate certain colour with certain catagory (or menu) . but in Joomla 1.5 I dont know how to do that. in my quick install I can see different colours in different sections and the sections colour in its child catagories.but I dont know where to control that? can you tell me that?

May 31, 2011 at 6:22 am #393767hello, you want to apear your site in right RTL direction with iphones , so you can make 1 thing that in css set direction: rtl; is the single command which will do most for you. It will define the direction, but will not affect the alignment. Set this and unset this on your site, reloading the pages to see the difference.
It is possible to set this in the template’s BODY tag. If you do this then the scrollbar will appear on the opposite side of the window. You may also set it in a “container” DIV tag which holds the entire content, which means that the scroll bar will remain on the right, but the text will.
