HI there,
associate of mine is working on a site using JA T3 framework. We have a template which is essentially the same but has to change colour across the 9 main sections. We have essentially duplicated the template folders so that we can assign each new duplicate to its relevant section within the templates page in Joomla. We have managed to do this 3 times with 3 new colours but now, when we try to create a new template folder and import it, Joomla (1.5) says that the framework is missing. Plus, in Joomla, all the framework options in the Joomla template page are not there either. We have updated to version 1.2.5 of the framework but its still the same.
is there a maximum number of templates you can assign within the same domain/site??
Thanks

Are you sure JA T3 plugin enabled? You should re-check it and make sure that other templates which use JA T3 framework work well first.

Essentially, we need to duplicate a template 9 times because of colour differences across the sections of a site yet after the 3rd copy, the fourth says the JA Framework is missing. Is there a limit on how many templates within the same site?
ThanksJuly 18, 2011 at 5:36 pm #401703Hi dohq,
Thanks for getting back on this. Yes, the plugin is enabled as the template is using it already.
Our problem is that we have 9 main sections/heading on our site. The client wants each to have the same shape and layout but different colouring for each section. We took the template and duplicated it, making the colour and image changes for each template. We only managed to change this 3 times and make the menu assignment in Joomla. In other words, we are creating a completely new template folder each time. The fourth time we tried, the framework control panel doesn’t appear in Joomla back end and when you try and assign it, the selected page comes up with a blank white screen with ‘Missing JA T3 framework’ in the top left.
Many thanks
