Everyone,

I am new to this and couldn’t find any instruction on how to install JA Teline. I downloaded the quick install files and I don’t know what to do next. Any help or information on how to find step by step instruction on how to install is greatly appreciated.

1. Download Quick install files,
2. Upload them to your server.
3. Unpack the files.
4. Navigate to where you unpacked the folder.
5. A Joomla Installer will be displayed, and just follow the directions on the screen.
6. Look for Install JA Teline Sample data at the bottom of the third or sencond step. (Cant remember off hand)
7. Check the radio button next to that option.
8. Finish the installation and delete the install folder in your joomla site.
9. Check out your new JA Teline template.

Thank you nathanbohn. I followed your instruction and got the following error.

Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /ja/installation/install.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

You need to chmod the file to 755 or 777 I guess. To allow access to the file.

I was able to solve by renaming htaccess.txt file.

Now I have another problem:

Warning: main(/includes/version.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mysite/public_html/y27/includes/joomla.php on line 71

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/includes/version.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/mysite/public_html/y27/includes/joomla.php on line 71
