Hi all. I’m building a site with JA Nex on J2.5, and I’m having a little problem with the JA News Featured module.
I’ve set it up to show on the home page only, so I was hoping and expecting it to disappear when the link was clicked to take it to the article, but it’s still there, causing a duplication.

It’s positioned at SI1-1, and I’ve created a category and hidden menu item as suggested elsewhere.

How do I get rid of it from everywhere except from the homepage alone- help!

I’m guessing that if you edit the module and check the Menu Assignment that it is going to be set to “All Pages”. If you dont want it on every page in that position, you need to check “Only on the pages selected” and then specify the page you want the module to appear on.

On the article you are linking to … it, and all other articles, must be attached to a MENU item in some way.
In Joomla, Modules look to MENU ITEMs for direction on where to appear or not to appear.
