    I just set up my church site using JA Pariiti template and i’d like to have the background as shown in the screenshot attached.

    The live site is at http://www.jesushousephc.org/new

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Make your image very thin and high. Like 4px X 2000px then and have the gradient near the top so people see it when they open the page.

    Find on template_css.css line 852

    #ja-containerwrap, #ja-containerwrap-f, #ja-containerwrap-c {
    background:transparent url(../images/body-bg.jpg) no-repeat scroll center top;
    }

    and change to…

    #ja-containerwrap, #ja-containerwrap-f, #ja-containerwrap-c {
    background:transparent url(../images/NAME OF YOUR IMAGE.jpg) repeat-x scroll center top;
    }

    You should also make the background colour the same as the bottom of your pic so that if any pages scroll below your image you visitors won’t notice.
