July 14, 2011 at 2:10 pm #166292Many if not all plugins I use with this template will only work if placed after the readmore section. The latest one to give me a problem is the SimpleCaddy plugin. Renders fine after readmore, but if placed before will simply appear as code i.e. {simplecaddy code=yourproductcode} .
This also means if placed in a custom html module the plug in will not work.
Any work arounds appreciated.himangi Friendhimangi

July 16, 2011 at 7:49 am #401395Hi,
Have you checked if the plugin appears before readmore with any Joomla default template? Or this issue is observed only when you use JA template?
If the issue is occurring irrespective of the template being used, please contact the Simple Caddy developers to sort this out. If the issue is occurring only with JA template, then please provide your site url, admin access and ftp details at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/76646himangi Friendhimangi

July 19, 2011 at 2:58 pm #401894Hi Himangi
Thanks for your reply and I think I understand better what the problem is.
If you go to http://columban.com/ssc/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&layout=blog&id=24&Itemid=305, you will see that the plug in code rather than the plug in appears in the Ja News preview of the page, but as you saw the plugin itself shows up on the actual page here http://columban.com/ssc/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=358:test-plugin-page&catid=103:donations&Itemid=305
Thanks for your helphimangi Friendhimangi

July 20, 2011 at 6:57 am #402008Hi,
It seems a cache issue to me. Currently I have turned off the cache from Global Configuration. and have cleared all the site cache and could see the plugin content appearing correctly in the blog layout as well. I have attached a screenshot of what I saw.
If you dont see it when you try the link now, please clear your browser cache and check again. Another thing is, if you want to turn on the cache from global config, I would suggest you to use an automatic cache cleaner plugin like http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/cachecleaner which will avoid cache issues in future.. -
