I’m new to Joomla and Joomlart. Have done some successful with the template. This time I try to use Polaris on Joomla 1.5.

The userguide said “To choose your menu type, go to the 30th line in the “ja_polaris/ index.php” and change $ja_menutype to what you need. 1 is Split Menu, 2 is CSS Menu and 3 is Transmenu. ” I’ve tried to look at the index.php file and cannot find $ja_menutype. What I can find close to it is “$jamenu->genMenu”.

Is this due to different version of the template or I missed something? :confused:

That is user guide for template 1.0 , not for 1.5.
If you want to change menu type, plz go to Extension->Templates manager, choose Ja Polaris, you will see come paramaters as Menu type, font size,… Plz change as you want
