I can’t seem to change menu types.

this is the error i’m getting:

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/archaeology/public_html/dev/templates/ja_polaris/index.php on line 155

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/archaeology/public_html/dev/templates/ja_polaris/ja_transmenu/ja-menulib.php on line 23

i am sure i am following the directions…

    2. Menu Types Configuration

JA Polaris offers you 3 fancy types of menu: JA Split Menu, JA CSS Menu and JA Transmenu

To choose your menu type, go to the 30th line in the “ja_polaris/ index.php” and change $ja_menutype to what you need.
1 is Split Menu, 2 is CSS Menu and 3 is Transmenu.

Note: If you decide to use one of these menu, don’t forget to unpublish the module name Main Menu in your administration panel.

Please don’t make a duplicated post.

You should provide your live site url here.

the url is intranet (you can’t see it)… i posted the error message already…

do you know what the error message means?

It is that the directory where the included files is NOT in the list of allowed directories in the “open_basedir” variable of php.ini. You could fix this problem by setting open_basedir to off (or no value) in php.ini, then restart your apache.

    thanks for you help….

however, i don’t think that will be possible because i don’t have control over the web server.

    is there any other way????
