If it’s a menu link, make sure it points to a published existing poll (could be selected in Parameters (Basic) when a menu item is created).December 6, 2010 at 1:59 am #365340This is from the Administration of joomla. the components Menu. When I click to create a poll the errors appears

What version of Joomla do you use? I could not find administrator/components/com_poll/admin.poll.php file in Joomla 1.5.20.
December 6, 2010 at 2:09 am #365342joomla version 1.5.22. Also If youvisit the site http://www.africaglobalvillage.com the standard joomla poll shows. I was trying to go and create a new poll MORE RELEVANT to my site.
I am having the same message with the Web-Links administrator menu as well

December 6, 2010 at 10:58 am #365431Something is wrong with the Joomla installation. I’ve downloaded the 1.5.22 full package of Joomla and didn’t find admin.poll.php in /administrator/components/ folder.
I searched Joomla forum and it seems this file had been used in Joomla 1.0.x….
Try to re-install your Joomla.
December 7, 2010 at 12:33 am #365485I installed from The express Installation. I do not know how to back up the content I have to do what you are suggesting
