Hi all,

Just checked last few months Poll of the Months.

Turns out there are very few voters in comparison to the number of active members on the forum.

Do you think it should be advertised better? Appear on the front page announcement (like the Twitter announcement), as well as each month’s nomination thread?

This would diversify and get more people active in these polls and more websites nominated!

(With no offence to Miccas and everything he has done so far), perhaps there should be another person also jointly responsible in maintaining this: admin, moderator, developer or otherwise! Just to help out Miccas!

Just a suggestion, looking forward to your comments!

Could do with a monthly newsletter about half way through the month.

News on up and coming templates and a reminder to all members about the contest and asking them to take part.

I agree.
If potential JA customers knew that JA is giving away a $350.00 developer membership, it may generate more sales for JA. The info should be on the front page and should also be part of the information on features of being a JA member.

When doing this, there should also be a real “your site will be showcased on the Joomlart.com Homepage” and not just inside the forums but ON THE FRONTPAGE, e.g. in the lower left area where is a lot of free space, got it?:)

In comparison to other clubs, Joomlart.com has the worst looking online presence… Where is the glamour seen in the templates available, IT MUST BE A SAME GOOD LOOKING HOMEPAGE and not more this 2006 style Joomla 1.0 thing that merely keeps people away from looking deeper into the products…:((

IT SIMPLY DOES NOT MATCH, so TIME TO GEAR UP and show some skills right away, fellas!;)

P.S.: To come with any type of reason why the JA homepage is okay this way is only an excuse, sorry, but all the other clubs with same good work and art for sale, there is no this or that club is better when it is only about the design. Each club has an own style and all are same good and pro, but all the others homepages have something that matches their products, JA not. Rockettheme has a nice futuristic homepage, Templateplazza.com has a nice cool Web 2.0 Interface, Shape 5 also got some nice cooling one and the list goes on, only Joomlart.com goes with the outdated most simple, least saying design and corporate identity in the whole Joomla world and you know how it is: The people who pay are people who watch first on the look of the outside, then the inside and obviously, other clubs got more members because they got a nice home. Here at JA, it is like “Business client knows that the quality and products matter, will not care if homepage is fancy or not…” but the young paying generation they await “a bit more”, better to say “a god dam lot more”! YEAH!😎

Listen to this, and realistically seen, when you look at the frontpage here, it looks like “an affiliate site of Joomlart.com that showcases all the nice templates from Joomlart.com but the homepage of JA is nowhere to be found.” So it comes like “where is the real JA Homepage, how many credits do I have to collect to get the secret adress and access credentials for the real Joomlart.com Homepage, with all the fancy stuff and somehow reach present time in Webdesign like all the JA templates showcased and all other clubs homepages look like…”

And for now having created my first own tutorial here, I really can await that also some new emoticons will be available and I want this one to be my own personal one:
