It’s time for something new specifically, not new take on a old category, like a news theme, sports theme, music/DJ etc they have all been done and done and done

Could we see a Church template like this one from themeforest done in Warp6 or a Charity Organisation template please? and forget the members that bleat for a release at the start of the month. Man up 🙂 & refuse to release a template before the 15th of each month, that way there are NO excuses for bug ridden Betas, ppl can’t ask when is it going to be released if you say NOT before the 15th (in any way, shape, or form)

Shape 5 releases templates only on 15th of the month, they refuse to bow to pressure from members and to my knowledge have NEVER released a beta. JA may benefit from following suite.

On a personal note, even I do not like releasing beta for regular templates, but Shannon you also know how the requests start pouring in asking for status not only in forum but also on social channels. The solution is to cover up on the development time and have stable releases, which we are trying.

I have added the charity and church template request of yours to the poll and you can Vote now. I think if we are to go for religious templates, we will have to have one common design and options for background images and module class suffix’s for each cause.

I voted for travel and news. Both are quite missing for J3

Mijoshop is a good program but its not free! Its based on Open Cart and beleieve it or not Virtuemart is a better component when it comes to add options. And none of Open Cart extensions work with Mijoshop! Well let me take that back its like flipping a coin you never know which extension will work because of the iframe or bridge they use to get opencart to work with joomla!

I had to fully agree. Also, the developer once changed its name (and left all of his customers) due to some internal problems, maybe tomorrow will do it again. So probably not the best idea to work with.

Wow… I have to TOTALLY DISAGREE with this sentiment. There is no way, shape or form that VirtueMart is a more dynamic or robust shopping cart application out of the box than is OpenCart. Insofar as shopping cart applications that have been made to be compatible within a Joomla based environment, OpenCart is as close to the power of Magento as it gets.

Furthermore, the variety of extensions and themes available for OpenCart is – BY FAR – vastly greater than is for VirtueMart.
And compared to similar extensions available for Magento, OpenCart extensions are far less expensive.

    VERY GOOD JOB!

I’m very pleased to see this kind of development going on at Joomlart!

    Respect.

I partly agree with your statement and partly disagree. You are comparing pears with apples.
OpenCart itself is more dynamic and robust compared to VirtueMart, but… OpenCart for Joomla (i.e. the so called Mijoshop) is not. It is a port. As a port, it doesn’t offer all that OpenCart offers as stand alone solution. As the previous user wrote, most of the extensions for OpenCart doesn’t work in Mijoshop, therefore it is not exactly the full power of OpenCart.

So in brief, while I agree that OpenCart is much more powerful then Virtuemart, that doesn’t apply to Mijoshop to Virtuemart when comparing.

    Regards 🙂

We had been releasing Teline series (one a year) but missed last year. Most of the Teline’s were released in November / December period. We did had plan for Teline V last year but due to so much of development work.. we had to put it on hold as Teline series take atleast 3-5 times more work and resources. I am sure we are gonna have Teline V this year.

I truly hope you publish Teline V this year…and please don’t make us wait until November/December. I know there are many like me that want to upgrade their site to Joomla! 3.0/3.1 but are waiting on the Teline template and extensions … Teline is a great template and we really don’t want to wait another 6-7 months … yes, I’m whining … just want to underscore how popular this template is among your members.

I think in the context it was written, everyone (should) understand that I meant perfect as in “working as designed”.

Arvind, I’m sorry to write this message, with some parts being out of topic, but I had to clarify some points here.

We did never leave our customers, on the contrary, we offered free migration for ALL the subscriptions and most of them migrated. You can find more details on our blog about this.

MijoShop is definitely a native Joomla shopping cart and not an iframe or bridge. You can find a detailed discussion about this between me and the “JED team” on forum.joomla.org as that was what they also thought initially but were convinced later.
Having OpenCart inside does not make MijoShop a pear and even the core of MijoShop has far more features than VirtueMart, all OpenCart extensions written according to OpenCart MVC standards works fine with MijoShop, except themes. Not to count that VirtueMart is not Joomla 3 compatible, even you count it as apple!

Anyway, the “best” shopping cart depends on your needs and here you can find an objective comparison presentation:

Sorry again to get out of topic in some parts of my message, you can use our social channels if you want to discuss further about those parts.
