That was not a to nice view of my page!
I did a vanilla install of the latest JA_Teline_II_v1.3_for_Joomla_1.5.x.zip Quick Install
and it is still giving a few errors. http://www.guatemala-times.com/jomtest/index.php

Just for the he… of it I tryed with the Joomla standard template on the test and no errors what so ever!
I just made a quick flip on the main site and the amount of errors was reduced to 110 (not to proud of that!)

On this demo you have a couple of “<p>” errors which is related to the content itself.
The errors here “</div>” means, hmmmmmm, erm, ouch………. In most cases just check over all div id’s in the template:eek::p:confused::((:-[
Here we come back to your other question, which version is the demo and which version do you have, is it same?
I feel things isnt going as it should here.
Revison 1.0 or 1.8.9 of a template does not matter as long as it still have some bugs.
Bugs needs to be written down, bugs needs to be solved, finally, use 10 min to write a small .txt file to add with the download.

For your original site, 283 errors. Don’t worry, this is quite normal. If you are using the original editor it has problems to put out stuff to be valid.
Does this make your site less attractive? No.
If all people should sit and validate sites all day they find quite alot of them.

Is it easy to make it valid? Yes , it is. It just require a little bit more work from you:)

    Menalto,
I know I dont worry to much about the <p> stuff. I am using JCE btw.
<divs> are another ball game all together and also the form field validation error (you get an error if not loged in) dosent really matter but looks ugly in IE.
Abaout ver. Well, if you say and the demo shows no errors then that is probably a good starting point for all of us. then we could try to make it better on dev sites and leave the stable one for production until we have somthing that works.
I cant see ANY reason way we should all deal with this and get a sillion differnt versions out there.
It will turn into a support nightmare for you and less confident clients.
