I have installed the Smashboard template and after a LOT of messing around (due to documentation having chunks missing and not being relevant to the style that Smashboard uses), i’m stuck with a page popping up as soon as my website loads. I’ve worked around this by converting it into a "You must agree to these terms…" page but to be honest i want it gone so i can make my own warning page, and also not have this stupid disclaimer page appear in one of my categories for everyone to see.
I have been through the instructions from top to bottom lots of times and can’t find any mention of this initial page being loaded, it wasn’t on the demo site and if i delete/unpublish it my entire site stops working.
Unfortunately there is no documentation specific to this template so i’m a bit stuck but would appreciate any advice of where i can look to find the settings/params to turn the pop-up page off. Whoever designed this template should probably write some notes saying how this template is different from others. For example the module positions on the page – apparently i only have 1 to use (says the documentation) but how come i’m using at least 4 different positions and they work absolutely fine!
The attached image shows the article being loaded – can anyone tell me where i can find this little bit of code and change it to a different article or is it safe to remove it completely?

Before loading Smashboard i had tried a couple of menu items to make sure Joomla 3 was no different to 2.5 and unfortunately the single item in the old menu was marked as the Home item, so it was called up every time by the error-menu Home button, which stupidly i had linked to the Home item of the old menu.
Confusing i know, but sorted now.Documentation for this template still needs a LOT of work before you go adding new features though.
I’ve managed to hash my way through it, but i can see from the forums that others have had similar issues with the docs.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros
